US Military 1917 RIA M1 Garand Bayonet Knife Blade & Scabbard originally from WW1. The left of the blade is marked RIA / 1917 with an ordnance bomb, the obverse is marked US / 257944.
This 1903 bayonet knife was cut down/ modified from 16" to 10" blade in WWII which many of the longer original bayonets were modified
this way in WWII when the 10" bayonet became the
standard length. You can tell these modified
bayonets by the blood groove which extends to the
tip. There are some signs of wear but overall in fantastic condition. Please refer to pictures for a better of condition and measurements.
