Rare Antique Mother of Pearl Carved Shell Icon of Saint George Defeat Dragon Pin

Up for consideration is a beautiful mother of pearl relief carving depicting Saint George on horseback defeating the Dragon. I have been advised by a serious collector that it would have been carved in the Holy Land circa 1840s-50s and bought by a pilgrim as a souvenir of a pilgrimage which was handed down through the generations. This special piece is in absolutely FANTASTIC condition with no notable damage. Please refer to pictures for a better description of condition and measurements.
